i work in the same building and eat there frequently, maybe a little to frequent )and ive noticed huge improvements on there daily lunch specials. Foods made from scratch, soups are always great, especially the chowder mmm. Best lunch in town for the dollar as far as im concerned

A disorganized and messy bakery, with staff that are clearly ANYTHING but "happy". Honestly, they are the most miserable looking food service staff I've ever seen. The food is inconsistent at best, sometimes okay, but usually fair to poor. After giving them a fair chance, I've given up on this place.

What an unhappy place! First time there today as I saw a sign with soup, haddock specials etc...I thought it sounded good. When I went in it was like all the employees were fighting. The mood was anything but happy. No one asked me if I needed any help. I went in at 1110. When I asked if they had take out, a girl, with larengitis, and extremely sick, told me that nothing would be ready until 1130 - first of all any employee who is sick should not be around food, Go Home!, secondly, why put your sign on the street if the food isnt ready. Cmon, people, is this how you run your business. I will not be back...aqnd I am in Fredericton frequently for business. And she told two friends, and so on, and so on...

The breads are by far the best in Fredericton. So much variety and many interesting seasonal additions, like their amazing pumpkin bread in October! The pastries and cakes are incredible. The Happy Baker is one of my favourite destinations every Saturday morning.

I was in Fredericton for a few days and had the roast beef sandwich at this place. Oh my god, it was the best roast beef sandwich I had ever had in my life! The touch of mayonnaise and the cheese make it juicy and tasty in the most perfect way. Awesome!
Comment on Aventurier's Review of The Happy Baker
The Happy Baker used to have the best soup in the city. As of late, it has gone considerably down hill. Their creamy soups are bland and they have added too much salt to compensate for a lack of flavour.

Of all the places I've had cookies and soup, I have to say The Happy Baker breaks all records. Their soups are very affordable at only $3.00 and they are incredible!

The soups, sandwiches and pastries are amazing...especially the blueberry cream cheese tarts. Definitely the best bakery in town.

I came from Quebec. We don't have anything which compare with this quality in the Capitale... Sandwiches are top of the line. I do appreciate. Thanks
